REACH Staff Listening & Empowerment Event

Date : 11/12/24

Time : 19:00-20:00

Location: Online

Open to All Roles

The Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage (REACH) Staff Network are pleased to invite you to our first Staff Listening & Empowerment Event of this year.

This event is targeted at ethnic minority staff and their allies working and training within general practice across Derbyshire, both clinically and non-clinically. We aim to explore any concerns affecting staff in terms of patient interactions, colleague relationships, recruitment, training and development. We will also discuss individual tools and collective strategy to navigate some of these issues, and tap into routes to amplify voices in forums for change.

We will be joined by Linda Cross (Freedom To Speak Up guardian), Susie Bayley (Medical Director for the Hub Plus Derbyshire), and Amina Hussain (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead RCGP Vale of Trent Faculty).

Please do join us for what hopes to be an evening of empowerment and community.
