The Race, Ethnicity, and Cultural Heritage (REACH) Network invite you to a crucial discussion on the unique challenges faced by individuals at the intersection of BAME and LGBTQ+ identities. This event will explore the lived experiences of the BAME LGBTQ+ community, focusing on how we can foster a more inclusive and supportive workplace.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Hastie Salih, a GP, writer and advocate for inclusive health practices, as our external speaker. Dr. Salih will provide insights into the specific challenges faced by the BAME LGBTQ+ community and share strategies for support.

Dr Salih is a locum GP having worked as a GP partner and GP Trainer for many years. She also works for the humanitarian organisation 'Doctors of The World'.

She published her debut romantic thriller ‘Dahlia and Carys’ in 2023 and has had short stories and poems published in anthologies.
