REACH Network-"Communication Skills- Breaking barriers in the workplace"

​The REACH Network is pleased to host the event " Communication Skills- Breaking barriers in the workplace” designed to help ethnic minority staff and their allies overcome common communication barriers and support colleagues in the workplace. This interactive session will provide practical strategies for enhancing cultural competence, improving communication skills, and managing conflict effectively in diverse work environments.

Event Objectives:
1. To Break Down Communication Barriers:
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the communication challenges often faced by ethnic minority staff in multicultural environments, and learn how to overcome these barriers through enhanced cultural competence.
2. To Promote Conflict Resolution Skills:
The session will cover key strategies for resolving conflicts that may arise in the GP setting.
3. To Build Cultural Awareness:
Attendees will develop greater cultural fluency, equipping them with the tools to communicate more effectively and navigate challenging conversations with respect and empathy.
4. To Foster Inclusive Communication Practices:
By promoting an inclusive communication culture, the event aims to empower staff to create a more collaborative, understanding, and supportive workplace environment.​
