Compassionate leadership focuses on building relationships by actively listening to, understanding, empathising with, and supporting others in your organisation. This approach ensures those we lead feel valued, respected, and nurtured, empowering them to achieve their full potential and excel in their work. Research consistently shows that compassionate leadership fosters greater engagement, motivation, and overall well-being among staff, leading to the delivery of high-quality care.

​Learning objectives for compassionate leadership training session:
​1. Identify and describe the four key behaviours characteristic of compassionate leadership.
​2. Explain the significance and benefits of compassionate leadership in fostering employee engagement, motivation, and well-being.
​3. Recognise and analyse common barriers that can impede the practice of compassionate leadership in organisational settings.
