Non-Clinical Support

Do you have an idea or skills that can support likeminded colleagues like yourselves? Would you like to join other colleagues across Derbyshire in forming a non-clinical listening group and work alongside The Hub Plus Derbyshire, in finding out what is available for non-clinical staff, what support you would like to see in the future and shaping career pathways and opportunities?

We are pleased to introduce our Non-Clinical Listening Groups!

Meet Amy - our Project Coordinator who knows first-hand what It is like to work in a non-clinical role in primary care!

Hi, my name is Amy and many of you know me as the project coordinator for The Hub Plus. Before starting my role at The Hub Plus back in 2022, I had worked in a local Derbyshire practice for almost 7 years and had various non-clinical roles throughout my career.

From starting off as a business apprentice to working on reception, completing my NVQ2 in dispensing to reception supervisor all in the mist of the regular demands and pressures of primary care and thrown in the mix of the covid pandemic, no two days were the same and some days we’re extremely difficult.

We understand that your role is not easy, and this is why we believe the non-clinical listening groups are so important. we know that if there was opportunity to share ideas, create a network of likeminded colleagues to support one and other, those days that were difficult could be improved in some way, shape or form.

we would love to invite you to our non-clinical listening groups which usually last for around 45minutes hosted on ZOOM. A list of dates is below, feel free to come to as many as you’d like!
