Are you a former registered Nurse looking to rejoin the NMC register?

The system in Derby and Derbyshire are encouraging healthcare professionals who have had a break in their career to return to practice. 

The return to practice programme, led by Health Education England, supports the commitments made in the NHS Long Term Plan to recruit more people into the workforce and ensure staff have rewarding jobs and work in a positive culture.  

You will be offered:  

• Fully funded university fees 
• A placement in General Practice 
• Practice assessor support 
• Support finding a job in General Practice upon successful completion of the course.  

• £1000 NHSE bursary- subject to funding.  

The short course is available at multiple Higher Education Institutes including the University of Lincolnshire and University of Northampton. 

The course produces a holistic nurse- not specifically a GPN or secondary care nurse. In line with the NMC standards and NMC requirement to reregister.
